Final Exam Details
Best of luck for the final exam tomorrow. This post contains some details that will be useful for the exam, and in particular for the oral exams next week.
Change of Lecture Venues
As discussed in lectures, the shared COMP1100/1130 lectures are changing venue from next week (the week starting 2 May).
Teaching Break
This post gathers together some information which will be relevant to you during the upcoming teaching break.
Mid-Semester Exam Instructions
The mid-semester exam will be distributed via gradescope, and will comprise of:
- Multi-choice questions
- Programming questions
Catch-up labs
We hope all students enjoyed week 1 of their semester as much as possible. We recognise that week 1 can be a chaotic time with respect to attending classes for a variety of reasons, ranging from late enrolments to the very concerning covid outbreak in the halls of residences. We therefore offer for this week, and this week only, an opportunity for students who were unable to attend any lab in week 1 to catch up with the week 1 material in one of two special catch-up labs we have organised for next Monday (28 February). These labs are only for students who did not attend a COMP1100/1130 lab in week one. The reason why you did not attend a lab is not important, however.
How to participate online
While most students will be attending labs and lectures on campus this semester, some will be joining our course remotely and so will be participating online. Also, some students may be participating online from time to time across the course, for example to review the recording of a previous lecture, so this post is potentially relevant to all students in the course.
